yeah! got myself a new pair of indoor soccer boots.. went gallen sports with my bro on sunday afternoon after church to hunt fer a specific pair. went round a few other shops but only this had the ones i wanted.. got the size right and all. in soccer, the boots dont reflect how good a player is, its the skill that does. so heres a few pictures of the Golden Shoe and a clip of me doing a few tricks..

2 days ago was my mummies birthday!! (: so happy to have such a caring and wonderful mum.. truely appreciate her really really much. wished her in the late morning around 11 when i woke up.. then got changed and went out to tamp mall supposedly to catch a movie. however after some miscommunication i decided to catch up with a old friend from sweden, met her at kembangan mrt and headed fer town.. walked around and finally caught xmen! i enjoyed it! she did as well as she kept talking about it after the show. hahaa! then decided to find a gift fer my mum, went to like 8 different shops but... couldnt find anything suitable! ahhh.. till now ivent decided what to get her. hmm any suggestions?

around late noon got home and waited fer family to get change and all. Whole family then headed to Waraku, a japanese restaurant to celebrate my mums birthday. i had a bowl of rice with saba fish(excellent) and beef soup.. HOOO!! really tasty. oh and they have this float drinks.. i had a coke float while my bro had a green tea float. yummmm.. the icecream melted so nicely into the coke as when u suck it u can feel the vanilla icecream while having the original coke taste. hehh..

after the meal we headed to haagen dazs fer the cake! ice cream cake........ *drools* yumm yumm.. had 2 slices of strawberry icecream cake! cause my bro couldnt finish hes share so i gladly took over.. muahaha! oh took some pics.. i'll post them soon.

anyways, ive another week left of my hols! while the secondary school students and all will be starting their usual schedule this coming monday.. hope to really make use of this final week before the studies kick off again.

and.. ENGLAND will be playing Ecuador on sat! With michael owen out through injury, England will now be relying on 3 strikers.. but, they still have that wonderboy WAYNE ROONEY! (:

Its fathers day todayy! so.. what have you given yer daddie? have u appreciated everything he has done fer you? these days.. children have little or no respect fer their parents.. which is a reallly sad thing. back in those days, parents were like the "king and queen" of the house. whenever they said something, it was to be done.. now its so different, children talk back, rebel, and you know the others..

all parents have sacrificed fer you as their child, and we should always give them our utmost respect and love.. not only when its fathers or mothers day. the trouble they took to raise you is really incredible.. u'll understand when ure a parent yerself. and many at times, we children are the cause of many disagreements in the family.. why? cus they want the best for us in their own way and sometimes this 'best' doesnt go quite well with the other 'best'.

we should always try to help around whenever we see the need, even if it means running a simple task like preparing the dinner table and helping to bring out the dishes! going to the door and give a hug and a peck to yer dad or mom who comes home from work. u know, these small lil things mean a lot to them? it can turn a bad day for them into a good one.. thats the power of love.

of cause saying is easy.. but i really wanna encourage all of you to practice it. you'll deffintely see the results of this.. its also a good example to set fer yer children next time. when u spend and invest so much time, money, effort into someone, you'd expect something good out of it issint it? thats exactly why our parents want to see us do well.. not only is it fer our own good, it brings them the satisfaction of being a parent.

Dad, i wanna wish you a really enjoyous fathers day. i know i might not been the best kid around at times, but from my heart i wanna say i truely love and appreciate you. every lil thing uve done fer me.. it has not gone to waste. i promise i'll do my very best to make u proud of your first born.. thank you fer giving me yer ever loving care and support.

im back! wow.. what a day..

1. woke up at 3pm
2. slacked at the sofa till 4pm
3. had lunch at 4pm
4. com till 6.30pm
5. prepare fer dinner at pan pac

cool schedule i had today eh? okkae, ive been waking up at 3pm every afternoon these days as i mentioned in my previous post. well, today was different.. mom arranged a family dinner with uncle robin and mei shan's family at pan pac! BUFFET!!!! woohh!
got changed and all at 6.30pm and waited fer my parents to get prepared! dinner was arranged at 7.45 and somehow fer the first time we were early fer an event! we arrived at 6.35 and met up with their family..

headed up to the restaurant and started on the sumptious buffet..
got off with ma favourite SASHIMI and COLD SOBA! its lyke a standard thing fer me? yeah.. every buffet i go, i'll zoom straight fer the 2 dishes. they're lyke my appetizers. hhahaa food was really excellent! had a serloin steak and lamb! oh wow.. it was just unbelieveable.. as the cheff placed the steak into my plate, i could hear the soft sizzling sound of the freshly pan fried steak.. walked over to the mushroom sauce and spreaded a ladle full of it over my precious meal. as i slit the steak the juicy meat jus seperated from the chunk so easily.. slipped the piece of meat into my mouth covered with mushroom sauce... yummmm. did the same fer the extremely delicious lamb this time with mint sauce.. wow.. brilliant meal .. but of cus all good things come with an expensive price (:

time fer desert! headed over to the colourful section.. the first thing that caught my attention was the fondule ( however you spell it) machine. it had chocolate flowing from the top lyka fountain.. as imma chocolate lover, i grabed a few sticks of mushmellows and strawberrys and covered them fully.. every inch and mili meter with the hot chocolate.. *slurrppppp* as i placed each stick slowly into my mouth with my eyes closed.. hahaha getting you hungy? yup, i feel hungry even as i describe this superb expierence.

headed down with mark, gillian and beth to the lobby where they had a room screening the world cup! hahhhs caught the match argentina against seberia and mon something.. 6-0 the final score.. excellent play argentina! messi's gonna be the star of this world cup fer sure.. hes talent and awareness is simply stunning. but..! england will pwn u guys argentina! hehehe!
yeah so after the match and all, our parents came to collect us and back to our home sweet homes! oh we took some pics, if i do grab hold of them from their family i'll post them here.

gonna celebrate fathers day with my moms famliy in a few hours time! havnt gotten any rest since 3pm! and i still havnt thought of what to get fer my daddie!! ahhh.. any suggestions? im wanna do something different instead of the same old card, meal and all.. ive done a frame with a self made card and photos of each of us around the frame last year! hoping to do something more interesting this year.. any suggestions please?

right, time to get some sleep.. will update all on the events! fer now, enjoy yer weekend and remember to wish our dads a very happy fathers day! they've given so much fer us through these years.. we shldnt only be appreciating them only on fathers day, but EVERYDAY!

Wooh! its the world cup mania! in case u dont know, imma crazy soccer nut.. so, this has been a really exciting month fer me. staying up at night till 5 plus 6 catching every single match there is. im supporting England! Hey england players, fans, supporters whatever out there lets do it this year! this is the perfect year cause every player is at their peak.. im just so excited about it. heehee
So far england has done pretty well! winning their first two games 1-0 and 2-0 against Paraguay and Trinad and Tobago respectively. they have been assured a spot in the final 16. COME'ON!!!!

AND by now most of you would haf known that jasmine tye has gotten through to the next round of the Singapore Idol competition!!! yeah! great job jas! and to those of you who voted, thanks so so much as well.. she now goes through to the top 12 and will compete with the likes of paul twohill! imma fan of his style and character. realy intesting dude.. oh i was at the results show and the atmostphere, the tension, the prediction and everything was just so, so amazing.. gurmit i really lyke yer style of teasing the audience and all.. EXCELLENT HOST dude! i sat opposite paul twohill at the stage seats and he was so supper funny. i really wonder how he actually sees with only one eye.. weird but defintely interesting (:

Heres a story of how my assignment went! the objective of this assignment is creating a magazine of any topic. initially i had planned to do one on handphones which i have completed like 70% of the work in school with brilliantly edited pictures, short writeups and alll.. we saved our work in thumbdrives and while trying to save mine, realised the size capacity of my device wasnt big enough!

But as usual, quick thinking.. i uploaded the files i couldnt fit into my thumbdrive into a ftp space (it was actually rf ftp. hehh! sshhh hush hush) So i happy happy enjoyed my holidays and all till like 3 days before my assignment was due which is 31st May Wednesday. On monday i decided that i should complete the other 30% and get it printed. I uploaded the contents of my thumbdrive onto my desktop, then proceeded to get the rest from the ftp. once done, i opened the folder and looked for my project file. to my horror, it wasnt there. i had left the most important file out of the thumbdrive and ftp! how dumb was that?

but anyway, i thought.. "handphones are pretty comon and nothing much of interest to many" so then came this idea of doing a magazine on my favourite topic... GAMING.

I had 2 days to do a brand new project from skretch! imagine that.... just 2 days including printing and i dont know where i can get them printed either. anyway, i just trusted that God would help me and started off. grabbing a few materials from magazines lying in my house and the net to get insipiration. opened Adobe InDesign and started work..

*After 3 hours*

yawnn, just completed the cover page and content page layout of the magazine. cool huh? 3 hours for 2 pages.. the requirement was 8 pages and up so i calculated.. if im gonna make it 10 pages that'd take 15 hours.. i thought thats cool, 15 hours is all i need to do a new project from skretch! happily i resumed work.. you know when ure doing too much of something you get kinda like a mental block? yeah thats exactly what happened.. i couldnt think any further. i was stuck at the introduction. so after 4 hours all ive done was cover page, layout of content page and a short introduction paragraph.

Since i wasnt making any productive progress i decided to take a break and see what happens next. i watched tv, played games chatted on the phone and all.. soon it was dinner time. so i said to myself "i'd better continue after dinner". and did i actually follow what i told myself? yup, you guessed it.. feeling full and lazy i slumped onto the sofa and got hooked to the tv for a hour and a half. couldnt really concentrate on what i was watching as my mind kept bothering me about my work!

time was 11.30 finally after procrastinating fer 15 mins.. i counted to 3 and stood up! walked over to the computer and resumed work.. so i worked through the night till 3 and covered the first actual page of my magazine. tired, i decided to get some sleep and work the whole day tomorrow.

woke up at 2 and immediately worked my socks out.. only paused for meals and toilet breaks. by 11pm i was on the 5th page. that was quite some good progess.. only 5 more to go. so on i went.. without taking a shower! hehh! but i dont stink so thats a good thing.. (: hahaha those of you whom i gone out with.. if i dint stink doesnt mean i had my shower! :p just kidding.
ok, just fully concentrated on my assignment without getting distracted by games, people and so on. but one thing that i cant restrain from is SOCCER. at 3am it was an international friendly between england and.. opps forgot. heh, anyway i paused my work to catch the game.. it ended at 5 with england winning 3-1 great goals! really looking forward to the World Cup 2006.

immediately, i popped back to my 3/4 done assignment! did so till about 7 where the sky was bright. all that was left was the last page! ahh i was feeling satisfied, spoke to a friend fer an hour or so and poof! went to dreamland on my bed.. woke up suddenly and took a slow walk to my table top, before i realised it, it was 3PM! i still had a page left and bring my assignment to the printers. without having my breakfast or rather lunch, i sat back down and finished off what was left undone.

finally finishing my project at 6.30, my dad picked me up and fetched me to katong shopping center where i got my project printed pretty quickly.. haha, the girl there kept looking at me! felt so embarrassed. anyways, my dad and i drove down to my insitution and i submitted my assignment. felt so good as i walked away knowing that it was out of my mind. i could now properly enjoy the rest of my hols!

got back fer dinner around 9 and went back to my gaming routine straight after.. playing a couple of matches before chatting and all. alright i have not slept since.. its 7am now! time to get some rest.. nights all! (:
